Nigerian Correctional Service

The CGC who was represented by the head of the Directorate of Training and Staff Development of the Correctional Service, DCG MA Tukur MFR, fsi, declared at the opening ceremony that : " The classification of inmates is a critical aspect of our operations, as it not only ensures the safety and security of our custodial centres... but also promotes the rehabilitation and reintegration of inmates... into society."

The workshop, which is scheduled for three days and is in collaboration with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crimes (UNODC), can create a more humane and effective Correctional Service that upholds the dignity and human rights of all individuals under our care. 

He challenged all participants to embrace the Training workshop as an opportunity to acquire individual knowledge.
